Runner-up in 'The Guardian' photography competition

I was pleased to learn that one of my photographs has been selected for the June on-line travel portfolio of 'The Guardian'. By coincidence I also got a picture in last years June competition! The theme this June was 'National Parks' and I selected an image captured in Banff National Park of Peyto Lake, an amazingly vibrant azure blue.

At the time I could not believe the colour of the lake (due to glacial 'flour') and joked that it would look like I had overused Photoshop.
